September 20, 2008 | Tagged competition, stubc08, student blogging | 12 Comments
I would like you all to consider entering Miss W’s student blogging competition. If you have earned the privilege of having your own blog, you can compete by making and improving your blog. If you do not have a blog (yet), you can register to compete by posting comments on the blogs of other students. This competition is OPTIONAL. If you choose to register, please remember that you should never give away personal information online.
Anyone interested in competing should click here to register.

I think that would be a lot of after I get my own blog. That will be fun. I will deffinetly try it as soon as I do get my own.

Last year we couldn’t get blogs because at the end of the year Mrs. Kulikowski found out about the edublogs and we didn’t have time to do anything.

I have just posted the first lot of activities. If the students come to this page each week, they will find a link to the weekly challenges. This might be easier than finding them amongst all the posts I will also be writing to my students.

I think entering into the blog competition would be really fun. For example, if you are bored at home you can make a blog. Then when you are done with it, you can enter it into Mrs.W’s blog competition. I think I will really get into that. Well, when I get my own blog. I hope that will happen really soon. So for the people who already have blogs, they should really do this. I think they would have a lot of fun. But that is just my opinion.

Jasmine, Hiba, Charlize and Yaelene: You don’t have to have your own blog to join the competition. All you have to do is visit my classblog, go to the sidebar and look under “Blogging competition” and visit some of the students and classes mentioned there. Write some comments on their blogs. Remember to keep a record on a word document of some of your good comments, so you can show your teacher how your writing is improving.
Everything takes place at my classblog so this is the URL to remember: http://wyatt67.edublogs.org then check on the right above my avatar for the page about the blogging competition. That will have all the links you need to do the activities.

I will surely join the competition once my blog is made. My mom and dad are still trying to come up with a decision. Right now, I don’t think they even looked at the paper.

Ms. W’s blog has been visited in many places. It is going to take a lot of work to get as much as Ms. W’s blog.I’m not sure you can beat her in the blogging competition. So I am not going to do the blogging competition. Because it is going to take a lot of work and if I do it, I might panic from doing all the work. When I went to Ms W’s blog today, I found where she is taking trak where the blogging competition, and it is a lot of people doing it.:(

Nestor,
You are only competing against the other students in your school who are taking part. That means at the moment anyone in Mrs Kulikowski’s class. I bet you would do well and you would certainly make friends with lots of people around the world.
